2001 Vans Warped Tour

the
2001 Vans Warped Tour

Yesterday, Me, Tony, Robert, and Bert attended the 2001 Vans Warped Tour, which featured 29 bands on 4 different stages. I woke up in the morning after spending the night in poor health. We drove all the way to the Warped Tour. I was quite sleeply so I don't remember much, but I think I had fun! We saw Fenix TX first, the drummer was the best guy in the group and I don't know if they played different songs or not, but if they did they all sounded the same. Then we traversed the grounds and bought some highly overpriced foodstuffs. The day went by pretty much as planned. Some of the better bands were 311, The Vandals, Good Charlotte, and of course Kool Keith (Just Kidding). I slept for H20 and part of Sum 41, but I got a poster off the wall so that was cool. We stayed together for most of the day, except Bert and Tony went up to get a good spot for 311 early and Bobert pulled me into the mosh pit. It was an interesting experience. A crazy-eyed girl grabbed my glasses off of my head so I looked her right in her crazy eyes and said "bad" as I slapped her wrist and yanked my glasses out of her hand. I was still somewhat sick and I grew tired shortly. I informed Bobert and I wanted to get out so he had some guy throw me up and I rode to freedom on top of smelly rythmatically-moving people. (I must admit I was nervous, but it was indeed the quickest way out.) After that I went outside so I could breathe again. I then proceeded up the Eagles Ballroom and found the Bert and Da Tony. Then Bobert joined us shortly before going back down. Overall it was quite an evening to remember.
